Cold and windy weather in the Baltimore area is expected to give way to higher temperatures later this weekend and next week.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday's forecast calls for increased clouds and calm winds, with temperatures rising to 44. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, and below around 31.

More sunshine is expected on Sunday, with a high of nearly 49 and a low of about 31.
Work week will begin on Monday, mostly sunny conditions, and at the lows of the 1950s. It will be mostly cloudy at night, at the lows of the 30s.
The weather is expected to continue most of next week, with Tuesday's highs approaching 60, at least at least the mid-50s forecasts until Thursday.
There is a 50% chance of rain on Thursday, with 50% wet conditions expected during the middle of the week.
