They actually say “extremely high temperatures”, but what else do you do in hot weather?
From Drill to Grill: Continuous fossil fuel use has brought us all into the hottest
The Climate Commission warns that Australia's largest cities could face dangerous hot temperatures unless action is taken to mitigate climate change. The commission released a “heat map” which also suggests that continuing to cut climate pollution can protect Australians from soaring temperatures.
“The inflation crisis is caused by a lot of overspending and rising energy prices. That's why today I will also announce a national energy emergency. We will drill, baby, drill.” (applause)
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke in January, promising to withdraw from the Paris Agreement and take advantage of its large oil and gas reserves.
If the world follows, Australia will suffer from burning fossil fuels, which will suffer extremely high temperatures every year, the Climate Commission said.
There are already signs of increasing calories, and last month's record was the hottest January in the world.
Samantha Burgess is the deputy director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service. She said the trend will continue.
“We know that extreme events are where humans are most affected, and that humans, society and ecosystems are most affected by extreme events. They happen more frequently and at a more intense rate the warmer our climate. So, we are currently warming at 1.3 degrees (Celsius), and in 2024 we see record losses from extreme events, from losses from hurricanes, wildfires, storms. With the warmer world, these are expected to become more frequent and more intense.”

The only disaster I've experienced so far is that I lost control of the algae in the pool, although I slowly won the battle with the help of many chemicals.
The beer refrigerator still works – so not everyone is missing.
Obviously, if Australia is going to experience hotter weather, then it is a disaster if no one can afford air conditioning. Sadly, many Australians are already in this situation due to skyrocketing energy prices.
If there is only one way to quickly lower these energy prices, all Australians can protect themselves with affordable air conditioning.
