The German parliamentary elections have been decided, and now it all has to do with possible alliance plans.
It seems certainly that the link between the economy and the climate will be eliminated.
It was introduced for Robert Habeck (Green Party), and until recently it was a paradise for friends and partners of green politicians. Can numerous NGOs (some of which have links to Habeck’s ministry) count on the huge contributions from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the future?
Münchener Merkur named some possible constellations for the next government.
Friedrich Merz plans to fill the key economic and interior ministry with his confidant. In this case, names like Jens Spahn, Carsten Linnemann and Thorsten Frei have been mentioned. CSU also made a request: CSU party chairman Markus Söder has announced that Alexander Dobrindt should take over key departments. The Ministry of the Interior, Finance or Defense may be considered, although these positions may also be required by alliance partners. In addition, Colorado State University has reached the Ministry of Agriculture for the Ministry of Agriculture, and Söder hopes that the current president of the Bavarian Felßner, Günther Felßner, will take over. ”
Professor Manuel Frondel of Ruhr University has a rather critical view of the possible new government of the energy theme in Zeitung, Berlin. He even accused Friedrich Merz of being naive.
Experience shows that the construction of a gas power plant will take at least five years. So, “as soon as possible” can mean many years; no doubt, “go online now.” Furthermore, there are currently no incentives for investors to build new gas power plants, as these power plants designed to bridge the dark downturn will not be used too much because of the expansion of renewable energy and will therefore not be able to compensate for their investment costs through market revenue. So, a power plant strategy was developed last year that envisioned subsidizing ten kilo gigawatts (GW) of natural gas power plants with hydrogen supply, with the state having 20 billion euros. This would fund the construction of about 20 power plants, rather than the 50 proposed by Friedrich Merz. As a result, Meles' proposal will be much more expensive. ”
Frondel also observed the expansion of solar energy.
According to the interim forecast of the Institute of Energy Economics (EWI) of the University of Cologne, rooftop photovoltaic systems alone, about two-thirds of 100 GW of solar energy are about taxpayers, which will make taxpayers about 20 years a year, and that is twenty years old, because Solar Power Solare Power Soleg perseeg perseeg perceived perce carse career perne cause cape perse n the levels all provide the fifties in their twenties. This 10 billion euros – every year, please note! – Therefore, it is not applicable to other urgently needed measures such as renovation of schools, transportation infrastructure or expansion of digitalization, let alone for research and development, especially energy generation and storage technologies. ”
