    Increases fire risk on Sunday; chances of damage to thunderstorms on Wednesday – Baltimore Sun

    Fire risks in the Baltimore area were higher than fire risks on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service’s hazardous weather prospects.

    Winds are expected to be around 10 mph on Sunday, with gusts of up to 23 mph. Maryland is at risk of adverse fire behavior due to low humidity and wind speeds expected Sunday, with rapid shooting spreading from late evening to mid afternoon.

    Conditions are expected to remain sunny on Sunday, 40 high.

    High winds on Saturday caused two brush fires in Baltimore County on Saturday. Around Harford and Nochcliffe Road, just around Gunpowder Falls State Park, according to a report by the County Fire Department’s post on social media platform X.

    Another fire, another fire in the 6500 block of Charles Street, was burned on 1.5 acres near the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, according to the fire department.

    It is expected to be sunny on Monday, approaching 44 years old. That night, things might be clear with calm winds and a low of 30.

    It is expected that the portion of Tuesday will be sunny, with a high of nearly 56. Wind energy is expected to be between 5 and 10 mph on Tuesday. Evening forecasts include the first chance of rain this week, with 40% precipitation expected after 1 a.m., which is expected to be mostly cloudy, below 44.

    On Wednesday, the Baltimore area may have the potential to produce destructive wind gusts of isolated, severe thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to be mainly at highs after 1pm Wednesday at around 61, with a 100% chance of precipitation.

    The shower may last until Wednesday night, mainly before 1 a.m., with evening lows expected to be around 44 years old.

    Thursday is expected to be partially sunny, with nearly 51. Thursday could be a strong wind on Thursday, according to the NWS. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 32 on Thursday night, and conditions are expected to turn partially cloudy.

    It is expected to be sunny on Friday with a high of 52. On Friday night, conditions should turn cloudy with a low of 36.
