    The Federal Emergency Administration (FEMA) is reportedly working to remove mentions of climate change and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) from its official documents. [emphasis, links added]

    The agency is considering using axe phrases like “water conservation,” “electric vehicles,” and “fossil fuels.” Official documents guiding their response to natural disastersPolitico's E&E News reported Thursday.

    The report was conducted by the Trump administration’s efforts to eliminate DEI-related programs across the federal government and the Biden-era Energy and Environmental Justice Initiative.

    The internal memorandum of FEMA obtained by E&E News also mentioned “possible violation of EOS's DEIA and climate change clauses”, referring to the DEI and accessibility and President Donald Trump's execution order.

    The memorandum also mentions terms such as “water conservation.”

    Former President Joe Biden leads a massive push to embed DEI into U.S. government agencies during his sole termincluding the signing of an executive order on January 20, 2021, It aims to improve “equality and racial justice” through the federal government.

    Trump signed an executive order on January 20 to remove the “waste” and “radical” DEI program and lean towards the entire federal government agency as part of his broader agenda to overturn the administration’s “awakening” ideology.

    “The Biden administration has forced illegal and immoral discrimination programs to be classified as almost everything from airline safety to military under the name 'diversity, fairness and inclusion' to be classified as all aspects of the federal government in almost everything from airline safety to military,” he said. Trump wrote in the executive order.
