Cannon-Brookes tried to explain why he bought Jet and Atlassian's F1 sponsorship in nearly 500-word posts on LinkedIn, a few hours of Australian Financial Review writing about billionaires' new jets.
Cannon-Brookes, who estimates Forbes’ value at $13 billion, said he bought a private jet “so that I can run a global business from Australia and remain a daddy in attendance”, which is “a difficult, ongoing trade-off I decided to make.”
Sponsored by Williams’ F1 team, Cannon Brooks said he appreciated the deal’s “double vote count” because “car = fuel.”

It doesn't matter if Mike is OK, we understand at Wuwt, believe me what we do.
Of course, it has an impact on the rest of our families – we love our kids as much as Mike loves his kids.
Now that the Leading Green sets the acceptable family carbon allowance to fly multiple times a week on private jets and sponsor Formula One teams, I think most of us have some personal sacrifices that can fit this level of climate motivation.
I only have one question.
Mike Back in 2019, your company Atlassian provided paid leave to employees participating in climate protests. Is this offer still applicable to employees participating in your private jet green lockdown? Or do they have to make sure someone’s Elses private jet is blocked?
