Much of Maryland is in Sunday’s wind direction consultation with the opportunity to spread thunderstorms and winds up to 50 mph throughout the night, according to the National Weather Service.
Wind consultation covers the Baltimore area of Central, North and Western Maryland, winds expire at 6 p.m. and is expected to be approximately 21 mph with gusts of up to 40 mph, causing hazards to high-profile vehicles such as tractor trailers and creating opportunities for power rides.

The NWS recommends using unsecured outdoor objects to avoid damage.
5pm precipitation opportunities are expected to continue until 2am after about 80% of Sunday evening. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected to last until 2am, increasing to 90% as the night continues.
Sunday's high is about 66 years old and is expected to be 51 nights.
By Monday, wind speeds are expected to range from 10 to 16 mph, with gusts of up to 25 mph. The expected conditions are mostly cloudy, up to 58. Monday's low is expected to be around 36.
It is expected to be sunny on Tuesday, with a high of nearly 63. Winds are expected to be in the range of 7 to 9 mph on Tuesday, with no heavy gusts expected. Tuesday night, it is expected to be about 43 lower, most of the time.
Most of the sunshine on Wednesday is expected to be 64 before the cloud coverage on Wednesday night. The low period is 46.
The shower may return on Thursday after 2pm and is expected to be mostly cloudy with 62 precipitation and 70% precipitation
On Thursday night, the shower may still be present, mainly before 8pm, mostly cloudy, below 35.
Friday should end the work week in sunny conditions, up to 51. It is expected to be 51 on Friday night.
Partially sunny Saturday is expected, with a high of nearly 58 and a low of 42.
