By Eurekalert: According to a natural research study today (Thursday, March 20), a new AI weather forecasting system, Aardvark Weather, can deliver dozens of predictions faster than current AI and physics-based prediction systems and use thousands of times more computing power.
Aardvark is developed by researchers at the University of Cambridge, supported by the Alan Turing Institute, Microsoft Research and the European Medium Weather Forecast Center, Aardvark provides a blueprint for a completely new approach to weather forecasting with the potential to change current practices.
