“There is no doubt that civil disobedience makes the perpetrator feel kind. But the anti-co2, anti-industrialization movement with society, reality and itself are all in war. Urge this marginal questioning a false cause for research and reflection… Please be genuine environmentalism!”
The guardian reported yesterday:
Just stop the oil after three years of climate action and “hang up the wiser”. Despite the continued campaign in “Courts and Prisons,” the final gathering in April will mark the end of street protests.
Dozens of protesters have been sentenced to jail. Last summer, five supporters who simply stopped oil were sentenced to years in prison to plan roadblock protests on the M25. Even if this month’s appeal lowered their terms, they remained the longest nonviolent civil disobedience ever.
Meanwhile, new groups emerged that avoided the previous commitments of some climate activists to be responsible for their actions, and instead acted secretly on target organizations they believed would help contribute to climate disruption.

The main course corrections are precisely due to invalidity, idiots and jail time. But there is no guilt. Climate activist Verel Rodrigues [1] Reported on social media yesterday:
After three years of interference, contempt and courage, stopping the oil ended the protests. Honestly… I feel a little excited.
Just stopping oil will not only shake everything – they change political conversations in Britain and around the world. Beginning in 2022, it quickly became one of the most well-known and influential climate movements in modern history with bold, destructive movements, slow marches and orange paint.
Of course, this is not easy. Repression is cruel. The law is weaponized. The protesters were sentenced to years in jail. But JSO continues to line. This resistance – courage – changed the Overton window. Three years ago, talking about the entire stay of new fossil fuel projects was on the edge. Now is the policy.
The UK economy is falling, with civilians bearing the burden of high energy bills – with no impact on the global climate (the country is responsible for 1% of global carbon dioxide emissions)…
continue:
…. Yes, as long as you stop hanging the stone, you will feel emotional. But it also feels like a baton. As they said: the activity won't go away- it keeps evolving. Go to courts, go to prisons, and even go to something new, bolder, more global. Interference is effective. Resistance is important. Actions can win
Or lose. As long as the oil stops, you won't stop winning. on the contrary.
There is no doubt that civil disobedience makes the perpetrator feel kind. However, anti-CO2, anti-industrialization movements are at war with society, reality and itself. Urge this edge to question a false cause of research and reflection and to infringe on their anger (not infringement of property rights or inconvenience to the public) in wind and solar industrialization in land and waters. True environmentalism!

[1] He described himself as follows:
I'm Verel – a climate activist, environmental activist and engineer driven by a simple fact: We can't solve the climate crisis as usual by businesses. My mission is to challenge the status quo, inspire actions, and empower individuals to use their skills and knowledge in the fight for a habitable planet….
Since joining the climate movement in 2019, I have been the first to lead local initiatives to develop high-impact movements and improve media strategies to expand the urgency of climate action….
