The overpriced “environmental justice and climate change” has disappeared, a taxpayer dollar wasted by the Biden administration, said Lee Zeldin, an administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a video released to X on Monday. [emphasis, links added]

Zeldin's decision wasted his decision to cut government waste in his own department and made the latest changes through a video posted to X on Monday and explained why they closed the so-called “museum.”

“If you are visiting the museum at the EPA headquarters in Washington, D.C., you will learn a lot about the path to environmental justice and climate change,” Zeldin said.

Administrator Biden spends $4 million in taxes on museums tells a selective story @epa history. Even though there are only 1,909 outside visitors in the past nine months, the annual operating expenses are $600,000. Today we are closing it. pic.twitter.com/GHTQ2MQX4N

“The museum claims that the EPA pursues its mission by advancing environmental justice, equity and civil rights compliance. The timeline of key events is conveniently overlooking any mention of President Trump’s first administration,” He said pointing out obvious bias and pointing out that the museum where the video was filmed was “Built and planned by the Biden administration,” taxpayers lost $4 million.

Perhaps more importantly, museums cost $600,000 a year. [CCD editor: The museum cost $300K to originally build, half its operating costs.]

“This shrine for environmental justice and climate change costs US taxpayers $600,000 a year. The agency has already spent $123,000 on cleaning, $207,000 on security, $54,000 on maintenance, and an additional $54,000 on storage.

Zeldin said that from May 2024 to February 2025, only 1,909 public visited the free museum.

“Even with the free admission fee, the museum costs you, taxpayers, $315 per outside visitor,” he revealed.

“I promise to be the special housekeeper of the taxpayer dollar, so this shrine is for EJ [environmental justice] Now, climate change will be closed forever,” he said.

“I will do everything I can to help Americans learn more about the amazing work of our agency to provide cleaner, healthier, safer land, air and water. We will be on no tax payments of more than half a million, which is in a museum visited and intended to tell some of the ideologically skewed parts of the EPA,” he said. Ending “The practice of burning taxes on pet projects does not help the agency achieve our mission to protect human health and the environment.”

This is hardly the first instance of Zeldin, the Ministry of Efficiency (Doge) measures and eliminates waste [in the EPA]It was announced in early March that his department had cancelled the “400 DEI and Environmental Justice Grant”, saving nearly $2 billion.

Update: I am canceling over 400 DEI and environmental justice grants totaling $1.7 billion, bringing @epaTotal savings exceed $2 billion!

The fourth round of EPA@doge Cuts are our biggest.

In February, the EPA also found $2 billion in climate groups linked to Democrat Stacey Abrams.

“Stacey Abrams' power forward community received $2 billion, becoming a passport entity for Biden's EPA's $20 billion “Golden Bar” program,” Zeldin announced. “They reported a total revenue of $100 after they were founded by the end of 2023.”
