Daily Skeptics
By Tilak Doshi
President Trump and his “energy dominance” agenda are under 60 days, putting the entire building of Climate Swordsman (more than 30 years) at risk of collapse. Like most of the president’s agenda in foreign policy, economic policy and cultural warfare, his energy team is going all out to develop policy and regulatory initiatives at a speed that aims to overwhelm the ability of opponents to respond. This has caused the administration's zealous climate rivals to fight against Trump's counter-revolution.
It is clear, however, that the evil alliance between the climate industrial complex (“self-interest enterprises, grand politicians and dangerist campaigners” mentioned by Bjorn Lomborg easily stopped on its track. Its immense scale of its influence in rent-seeking companies, the left-wing billionaire foundations and countless climate NGOs, its deep roots in the Western psychology and its teaching achievements on the younger generation from elementary school to college. The Trump administration’s upcoming mission is full of challenges, especially the activist judges who can continuously impose legal barriers on the president’s administration at every step.
Leftist tears and skeptics Schadenfreude
A brief scan of recent headlines in Legacy Media shows how heartbreaking the mood of true believers in the climate church has become. one Bloomberg The opinion article was published in condolences published Wednesday: “A few days of climate action destroyed.” Co-authors Mark Gongloff and Elaine, who created a detailed, if not an exhaustive list of climate-related actions for the first 52 days of the Trump administration. Their breadth or intensity of the climate action attacks released by Trump made us terrified: “Nothing is ready for us.”
one Wall Street Journal Article reports that the fossil fuel industry is taking revenge on green activists, environmentalists “reel”[ing] Under President Trump's physical fossil fuels and anti-climate actions. ” New York Times “In just a few weeks, President Trump has seriously damaged the administration's ability to fight climate change, allowing U.S. environmental policy actions to have a lasting impact on the country and the planet,” the complaint said. guardian Claims that Trump officials “weak environmental protection” and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) “targets nearly all major pollution rules at what environmentalists call “malice against the planet”.
It is no surprise that the issues of pearl concern expressed by climate fanatics and their media facilitators have led to the obvious Schadenfreude In skepticism. Charles Deert Watt? The website enjoys it as “common sense, provided by Mr. Trump”:
It's hard not to laugh when reading BloombergTrump's point is that “the years of climate action are being removed.” There is a sense that Mark Gongloff and Elaine are typing through a string of tears, their trembling hands barely able to grasp their reusable bamboo keyboard. Their pain is obvious – very interesting.
In a photo of two hanging champagne glasses on X, Mark Morano's Climate warehouse Link Bloomberg Commentary comments: “That's what it does! Thanks, Mr. President!
“The dagger that goes straight into the religious heart of climate change”
The Center for Progressive American Progressive Think Tank claims: “Under the Biden administration, the United States has achieved more on climate change than any other president in its administration.” Like the Obama administration, the Biden administration has done almost everything in its “all government” approach to regulate the slams of U.S. oil, gas and coal, while showering taxpayers criticism of the “good” industry. This ended up reaching the largest large-scale clumsy in U.S. fiscal history, like the Lower Inflation Act, was also misnamed to support the “renewable” project to “save the planet from the “climate crisis.”
The Trump administration has adopted a radical attitude to bring a level of normality to energy and environmental policies through cost-benefit analysis (Bread and – Fuel Economics). Just like how a good surgeon can take positive steps to eliminate the growth of cancer in patients’ bodies, President Trump’s energy team has overhauled the roots and branches of energy and environmental policies that focus on business costs and consumer welfare rather than some hypothetical, i.e., imminent climate apocalypse.
Although Trump’s energy-dominated agenda is also an effort by “all administrations”, EPA administrator Lee Zeldin occupies the policy hottest. Under his watch, the agency launched the most profound relaxation and conditioning action in American history. In 31 separate actions, the agency sought to eliminate “trillions of regulatory costs and hidden taxes” to reduce the cost of living for American families and lower the prices of essentials such as buying cars, heating homes and running businesses. Mr Zeldin said he is helping to “put the dagger directly into the heart of climate change religion”.
The EPA's formal reconsideration of “hazard discovery” will drive the dagger. It is this discovery that enables Obama EPA to regulate CO2 As a “standard pollutant,” it by definition can harm human health. It gives government agencies Carte Blanche War on fossil fuels and internally adjust consumer choices on appliances, including cars, and consumer durables. It favors “green” projects for privileged investment incentives. The Obama administration’s “Clean Electricity Program” forces technology to unavailability for coal and new gas plants to benefit unreliable, intermittent wind and solar energy. It brings EV regulation requirements through tailpipe emission standards that place death verdicts on gasoline and diesel-powered cars.
The Supreme Court's 1984 Chevron respect ruling sanctified the hazard ruling, which approved a wide range of leeway from regulators to interpret legislation. This puts the Democrat-run EPA in control of CO2 Emissions, therefore, most human activities. Last year, the Supreme Court’s overruling of Chevron’s principle of respect, Mr. Selding may have successfully reversed the dangerous bode, which was good for President Trump’s energy domination agenda.
The Death of Net Zero's Insanity
In court, Chevron's ending of respect for principles eliminates the irresponsible, partisan bureaucracy's privileges for the implementation of public policies. In the Public Opinion Court, the election of Donald J. Trump has driven the momentum to return to normality in public policies related to energy and the environment. The dystopian net zero policy is no longer in trouble in the state institutions of the United States. Sadly, populist parties in the EU and Britain have been demonized as “rightmost” – supporting costly, invasive climate change rules and regulations will be marginalized by political firewalls and compliant media.
There is nothing politically certain. The Trump administration cut its work at least before the midterm elections, and supporters of “energy advantage” are not taken for granted. From now to the mid-term, Trump’s counter-revolutionary strategy can only be “full motivation” and “no prisoners.” As Victor Davis Hanson has long reminded us, the battle of the Marquis along Queensberg rules “Gentleman” does not cut it.
