At the end of the term, former President Joe Biden granted California’s Environmental Protection Agency exemption to enable it to implement regulations that would effectively require 80% of cars to be free of emissions by 2035.

The exemption allows California to develop its own standard rules for automatic emissions rather than complying with national standards.

California, as a disproportionate disproportionate in the U.S. economy, often has the ability to shape national business practices.

For example, Automakers tend to comply with California Air Resources Commission regulations rather than more tolerant national emission regulations.

This month, the alliance of major automakers wrote a statement that if the regulations remain in place, they will be “It was forced to significantly reduce the total number of vehicles sold to expand its share of electric vehicles.”

Under the Congressional Review Act, the regulations to revoke the last Congress were limited.

The new Congress quickly took action to offset the action, proposing a congressional review act in the House and Senate to defeat Biden's immunity. The CRA allows Congress to revoke federal regulations with a simple majority vote.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise's office said Wednesday that the house would bring three Cras to this week's immunity.

    The only question?

Government Accountability Office and Senate Members, [who] Responsible for determining the rules of participation in Congress and determining that the Senate cannot beat the exemption with the CRA.

Now, Thune has to decide whether he sees Cras as a watchdog.

Neither Goa nor the MPs have the power to veto the Senate, but violating them will produce some political drama.

Thune, fantasizing about being the guardian of Senate tradition and procedures, warned against challenging past lawmakers, likening it to a nuclear option.

But the bet is high and time runs out. Under the Congressional Review Act, the regulations to revoke the last Congress were limited.

In this case, the deadline is mid-May.
