    Transcript:

From the basement oil stove to the kitchen gas stove, some household appliances burn fossil fuels.

Therefore, they release carbon pollution that heats the planets and contribute to climate change.

But now these devices can be replaced by electric models.

You can use an electric heat pump to heat your home, an electric water heater for showers, and a traditional electric stove or electric induction range to cook food.

Some of these appliances (such as heat pumps) are much higher than those that burn fossil fuels.

Moreover, as the energy grid gains greater power from renewable sources such as solar and wind, such as solar and wind, the use of electrical appliances will cause less and less carbon pollution.

    Some appliances are healthier, too.

For example, air pollution in air fires in gas furnaces is associated with childhood asthma. But electric and induction furnaces will not cause any indoor air pollution.

Currently, residential and commercial buildings are responsible for approximately 30% of global warming pollution in the United States

But as more people switch to electrical appliances – more energy comes from renewable energy – our homes will be healthier for people and the planet.
