Trash is racist now: California wakes up on waste management

    Trash bin garbage
It's another day when “Y” ends, so California's overlords are back to microscopic survival – now your junk is racist. [emphasis, links added]

A report from the Diligent Laboratory conducted by the California Air Resources Commission (CARB) claims that 70% of the state’s landfills emit the most greenhouse gases in minority-major communities (whites make up less than 50% of the population).

Your fault, you are trash, trash, paranoid.

What are their grand plans? By 2050, landfills will emit 52% methane, which means closing the landfill and letting you rot your own waste.

Therefore, the racist speech of our ruling class continues. You will remember that during the 2020 Love and Peace protests, people were not only forced to post a black square on Instagram, bend their knees at rally and “speak their names”, but now they should feel inward because they throw the trash away.

Similarly, “peaceful” protests have recently erupted in California again, rather than restoring law and order, but coming for your trash.

With Kettleman Hills landfill, the only two hazardous waste landfills in the state, it is also one of the largest landfills in the western United States.

It is the main target of Enviro-Whackos, who claim their toxic waste poisons locals and the planet – don’t mind its safe operation, updating 50-year history of licenses and community trust.

It has been dealt with while maintaining public health integrity since the 1970s. But why let the facts ruin a good narrative?

Despite exceeding state and federal environmental standards and being regularly checked by multiple agencies, activist organizations are still litigated and complained in litigation and complaints.

Or worse, the Chiquita Canyon landfill in Los Angeles was closed earlier this year due to regulatory whipping by Los Angeles County, state and other regulators.

The landfill handles 34% of La waste and measures have been taken such as enhanced gas well systems, odor monitoring and leachate management to resolve any issues. Still, it’s not good enough for regulators under pressure from radical environmentalists.

Officials acknowledge that closing Chiquita will not affect rare chemical reactions that lead to strong odors, because “the reaction occurs about 2,000 feet in the active part of the landfill.” They also admit that “shut it now will slow down the cleaning process.”

The Los Angeles Times published an editorial last year that wasted — the pun is Chiquita while cleaning up the chemistry.

Chiquita spends a lot of resources to protect the environment and communities around the landfill, but Times says the landfill itself is “a legacy of consumer culture, which unconsciously produces garbage, with little to take into account all of this waste.”

According to the era of neglect, billions of dollars spent on recycling and compost are often completely invalid. We all remember articles from the 1990s: “Recycling is garbage.”

Of course, once the landfill is closed and county garbage must be dragged further, it will pollute more air per mile, and local lawmakers jump to make sure there is no “price fraud”, rather than addressing the real problem of effective waste disposal.

So, what happens when landfills are closed? Is it better for anyone? Not surprisingly – the answer is no.

When a landfill is closed, it must be disposal by incineration or transported further afield. However, incineration requires new infrastructure and has dangerous climate and health impacts. The World Bank estimates that incineration and waste transport prices are $100-300 per ton, while landfill disposal is $20-80. …

California already has some of the strictest regulations on hazardous waste, so it is shipped to states such as Arizona and Utah for disposal.

No wonder the state’s landfills charge some of the nation’s highest prices — more than double the amount of landfills in Utah — and waste disposal companies are forced to get out of state, often dumping states near Native American bookings.

The problem is that no one wants to live near landfills, so the pressure to shut them down is enormous. The smell can be annoying. But many of the “science” about health issues are questionable.

A study conducted by the UK government concluded that “living near a good landfill does not pose a significant risk to human health”.

Anyway, you slice it, which is just another example of the waste policy of environmentalists led by Golden Garbage State and the over-regulation of landfills worthy of landfills. They can solve practical problems instead of chasing political influence.

But this won't be applause from celebrating riots, illegal immigration, high life and homeless people.
