The mean sea level monsoon is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Sagar, Pendra Road, Puri and then southeast to the central Bay of Bengal.
The western disturbance is a mid-tropospheric westerly trough with an axis located 5.8 kilometers above mean sea level and persists roughly north of 74 degrees east longitude to 32 degrees north latitude.
A trough extends from the southern coast of Gujarat to the northern coast of Kerala.
There is a cyclonic circulation over northeastern Assam and adjoining areas.
A cyclonic circulation persists over Saurashtra and Kutch at an altitude of 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Around July 19, a new low-pressure area may form in the central and western areas and adjacent to the northwest Bay of Bengal.
The shear zone remains along approximately 20 degrees north latitude, between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Moderate to heavy rains occurred in Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Goa Coconut Coast and Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the last 24 hours.
Light to moderate rains with a few heavy rains occurred at one or two places in Gujarat, Vidarbha and southeastern Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, sub-Himalayas West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Islands, Uttarakhand , Himachal Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Sikkim experienced light to moderate rain.
Light rain occurred over Bihar, West Bengal, Northeast India, Western Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
