Good Monday evening! Following a round of strong to sometimes severe storms, we will keep the possibility for additional isolated storms in the overnight forecast. The storm preceded a wave of low pressure and an associated cold front swooping out of the north and remained close enough to ensure the chance of isolated, sometimes scattered, storms on Tuesday. At present, no widespread severe weather is expected, but one or two stronger or scattered severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. In areas with recurring thunderstorms, locally heavy rain is possible, but flooding is not a major problem.
High pressure will slide in from the northwest Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will clear the rain and allow sunshine to return for the remainder of the week. Wednesday was the crispest day, with sunshine, low humidity and temperatures in the mid-70s. By Thursday, highs will be in the lower 80s and could get closer to the 80s on Friday. Another 90° shot may be coming over the weekend.
Enjoy the night and let me worry about you when the storm hits. If there are any major issues, I'll be sure to let you know
