Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said the Center, along with states and multilateral development banks, will promote water supply, sewerage and solid waste management projects and services in 100 major cities through bankable projects.
The projects will also envisage using treated water for irrigation and filling of water tanks in nearby areas, she said while presenting the budget in the Lok Sabha.
