DENVER (KDVR) — Wildfire smoke from out-of-state will continue to impact Colorado on Tuesday, especially along Interstate 25 and into the Plains, as highs in the 90s are in the forecast for Denver.

Skies will be mainly clear in Denver on Tuesday, but will appear hazy as smoke from wildfires outside the state continues to linger.
It will be breezy most of the afternoon and highs will reach 90 degrees.
The air quality alert is in effect until 4pm, with high levels of ground-level ozone and fine particulate matter in smog causing difficulties for people with respiratory conditions.
Tonight's weather: mostly sunny
Tuesday night the sky remained smoky with no clouds and a slight breeze. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 60s, which will be comfortable.

Wednesday will also bring smoke, sunny skies and temperatures that will get hotter in the mid-90s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with less smoke in the air and temperatures above 90 degrees.
Friday brings a few afternoon clouds, the possibility of some evening storms, and high temperatures in the mid-90s to round out the week.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with a chance of storms in the afternoon, with highs reaching the lower 90s.
Sunday will be sunny with highs in the mid 90s.
Monday starts off the next work week with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid 90s.
