The Masters is scheduled to begin Thursday morning at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
Tee times were pushed back two and a half hours after Masters officials issued a weather warning early Thursday morning.
As is the case this time of year, the weather can be very unpredictable and can have a significant impact on how the course is played.
Wet weather can soften the greens and (usually) result in lower scores. Dry weather may cause the notoriously fast greens to become even faster though.
The weather can also change throughout the day, which will make a player's tee time another important factor in how they perform each round.
🏌️♂️☔️🚨 Worth noting #masterstournament Weather Update: The storm system ended early overnight, which means Augusta is mostly dry.
Winds will continue at 15 mph in the morning and remain at 15 to 20 mph from morning to afternoon.
