Tonight, there won't be as much action today compared to the last few days, but some lingering daytime storms are tapering off in the evening. Showers are possible in the early morning, with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of scattered fog. Temperatures dropped to the low 70s overnight and the weather remained muggy with calm winds.
There will be showers tomorrow morning, followed by scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. Everyone in Ark-La-Miss has a chance of rain, but not everyone will see a scattered pattern of storms. Some breaks in cloud cover and rainfall will push daytime highs into the mid-80s. An unsettled pattern continues this weekend, but rain chances begin to weaken late into the weekend into early next week. The area of high pressure moved a bit, allowing daytime highs to eventually rise back to summer normal levels in the mid-90s.
