Severe weather won't stop in Texas
Severe weather has been hitting Texas since Saturday. Deadly tornadoes, hundreds of thousands of power outages and flooding occurred. Amid Thursday's severe weather, one person was injured after a double-wide trailer was overturned by a storm in Odessa, Texas. Dangerous storms will continue across the Lone Star State on Friday, with the worst weather expected in central and eastern parts of the state.

Baseball-sized hail wreaks havoc in Denver area
Denver is no stranger to hail storms, but the storm that swept through Thursday night was the largest in decades. Baseball-sized hail (2.75 inches in diameter) was reported in Commerce City, Colorado, the largest hail observation in Denver County since 1989, according to Fox Weather Center. Overall, the Denver area received more than 50 reports of hail at least 1 inch in diameter, according to the National Weather Service.
May becomes second most active month for severe weather
To say the weather in May is busy would be a bit of an understatement. As of May 28, there had been nearly 5,700 reports of severe weather, including 475 reports of tornadoes. All told, this was the second most active May on record for severe weather.
