Meteorologist April Loveland's first warning forecast
Expect lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the mid-80s. It’s the perfect day to spend some quality time outdoors!
As the work week begins, things start to pick up. Highs in the 80s are expected. Humidity is still in a comfortable range. There is a 20% chance of showers later, so keep an eye on the sky if you have evening plans.
We may see some storms Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than Monday, with highs in the upper 80s. Humidity will begin to rise slightly. It might be a good idea to carry an umbrella with you!
Just like Tuesday, there is a chance of storms Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the 90s during the day.
Welcome August with sunshine, clouds and a slight storm. It will be very hot with temperatures in the low 90s so be sure to stay hydrated!
Hot and humid weather is expected to end the week as temperatures soar to 93 degrees. The chance of storms is 30%, so we may see some relief from the hot weather in the form of showers. As the humidity increases, it will feel closer to triple digits.
The hot and humid trend continues Saturday with highs reaching the mid-90s. Please keep your umbrellas handy as we will have a chance of scattered showers and storms again.
