Orlando, Florida – A disturbance in the Atlantic gives a moderate chance of tropical development next week into Sunday morning.
The National Hurricane Center is closely monitoring unrest in the eastern Lesser Antilles.
As of 8 a.m. Sunday, the wave still has a 40% chance of developing into a more organized tropical feature over the next seven days, at which time it could become a tropical depression or even a tropical storm.
As it moves west-northwest into the Caribbean Sea, conditions are expected to become more favorable for development.
