STORMTRACKER 4 Forecast — An active night of monsoon storms will end the weekend.
Get ready for another monsoon storm. Rain continues into the evening in Pima County and far south and east. There was enough rainfall yesterday due to soil saturation from recent storms that flooding is possible even in light amounts. Turn around, don't drown!
The biggest risks tonight will be strong gusty winds, heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Severe storms are possible across much of Tucson and in southern and eastern communities.
The chance for monsoon storms will decrease slightly as the new work week begins, and afternoon highs will continue to remain above 100 degrees over the next 10 days. Hotter, drier air will move in midweek, causing warmer temperatures and reducing the chance of monsoon storms.
