Weather service updates heat and humidity risks and chance of severe storms

DES MOINES, Iowa — The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has updated information on possible severe storms and high temperatures and humidity today. The risk of severe weather is high with multiple rounds of storms today and Wednesday. Heat/humidity risks exist across much of the state, but the highest risk is in the center and south.
