There were several reports of damage across the tri-state area from overnight storms that downed trees, led to road closures and power outages. So far, no injuries have been reported.
At least one radar-confirmed tornado was reported in Clinton County near Midland following a night of active weather, according to the National Weather Service.
Middleborough Road near Blanchester is closed due to a fallen tree on the road.
When our crews arrived, debris was strewn across the street.
There were at least a dozen reports of storm-related damage in Clinton County.
Residential damage was reported on Maple Grove Road near the intersection of Blanchester Parkway in Clinton County and on State Highway 133 near the intersection of Irving Road near Blanchester.
The Clinton County EMA also issued the following statement regarding severe weather:
“A severe storm system moved through Clinton County early this morning, causing minimal damage and no injuries or fatalities reported. Now that daylight has dawned, additional damage can be identified and reported. Clinton County Emergency Management Agency (CC EMA) Residents are urged to report any damage to their homes as soon as possible and if roadways are affected, report it via 911 to dispatch appropriate personnel.

The National Weather Service had several other reports of downed trees and road closures in Blanchester, Midland and Clarksville.
Some of the trees fell on power lines, causing power outages. At its peak, more than 5,000 outages were reported.
The Hamilton Township Police Department also posted on X (formerly Twitter) that West Foster-Maineville Road and North Ocean Road were closed due to a fallen tree.

There is also storm activity in Brookville, Indiana, where a tornado appears to be forming.
There have been no reports of casualties from the storm.
It's unclear when the affected roads will reopen.
