The Golden Maisama Temple, located in Kothirampur, Karimnagar, Telangana, attracts devotees from all over the world. It is believed that the golden Maisama was founded by three children who dreamed that their mother also asked for it. According to this vision, a golden Maisama temple was built here for the goddess. The unique thing about this golden Maisama temple is that the wishes of devotees are fulfilled after worshiping in this temple. Since this temple has a gold sculpture of Maisamma, devotees offer gold items in this temple. After their wishes are fulfilled, tourists offer golden uyaras to the goddess. Devotees place each gift in a hundi and offer it to the goddess. Most of the people who visit this goddess are children and women, and believers here believe that this goddess will grant their wishes. The temple is also managed by a management committee. The hundi income is calculated monthly under the auspices of the committee.
People of Karima Nagar never miss the puja of this temple. They believe that if they worship at this temple, all their sorrows and sorrows will be removed. Bhatti, the temple's priest, claims that unemployed people often want to provide jobs to people. The offerings of this temple are also counted at the end of the month. The temple is open Monday to Sunday. Maximum number of people visit this temple during the month of Ashada.
