Bangalore Traffic Live Updates: Bengaluru traffic police are issuing daily alerts to commuters as heavy rains lashed the city over the past few days, slowing traffic in some areas.
The Meteorological Bureau predicts that the weather in the city will be generally cloudy with light rain on Friday. Light to moderate rainfall is also likely to occur in Karnataka, Kerala and other south Indian states this week.
Meanwhile, several traffic restrictions have been imposed on motorists as the Independence Day flower show, organized by the Lalbagh Horticulture Department, begins from Thursday.
Traffic towards Bengaluru airport was reportedly slow on Wednesday evening due to waterlogging on the Hebbal flyover ramp. Commuters are also asked to be careful.
