To promote the third edition of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the Prime Minister urged everyone to change their profile pictures to Tiranga and once again make 'HarGharTiranga a memorable mass movement'
On Friday, six days before India celebrates its 77th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed the display image on his microblogging site X to the tricolor. To promote the third edition of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the Prime Minister urged everyone to change their profile picture to Tiranga and once again make “Har Ghar Tiranga a memorable mass movement”.
“As Independence Day approaches this year, let us once again make HarGhar Tiranga a memorable mass movement. I am changing my profile picture and I urge you all to join me in celebrating our tricolor,” PM Modi wrote in X post.

“Har Ghar Tiranga” 3rd Edition
Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said on Thursday that the third edition of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' will be held from August 9 to 15 to commemorate the 78th Independence Day. The minister urged citizens to hoist the tricolor at their homes, click selfies with the national flag and upload it on the HGT portal.
One of the highlights of the event is the special 'Tiranga Bike Rally' involving members of Parliament, which will be held on August 13 in Delhi.
