Aaj Ka Panchang, August 13, 2024: Two festivals will be celebrated on this day – the second Mangala Gauri Vrat festival and the Masik Durgashtami festival.
AAJ KA PANCHANG, August 13, 2024: Ashtami Tithi and Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha will be held on Tuesday, August 13, Drik Panchang said. Shukla Ashtami and Shukla Navami are considered auspicious and suitable for important events like weddings, housewarmings and other ceremonies and fall under the time of Shubh Muhurta. On this day, devotees celebrate festivals like the Second Mangala Gauri Vrat and Masik Durgashtami.

August 13 sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset
The sun is expected to rise at 5:49 a.m. and set at 7:02 p.m. Meanwhile, moonrise is expected at 1:31 pm and moonset at 11:57 pm.
Details of TITHI, NAKSHATRA and Rashi on August 13
Ashtami Tithi is expected to continue until 9:31 am on August 13, after which it will move to Navami Tithi. The promising Vishakha Nakshatra is expected to continue till 10:44 am, after which another auspicious Nakshatra – Anuradha will take over. The Moon is expected to be in Vrishchika Rashi (Scorpio) while the Sun is likely to be in Karka Rashi (Cancer).
Shubh Muhurat on August 13
On August 13, Brahma Muhurta will be held from 4:23 am to 5:06 am, followed by Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 4:45 am to 5:49 am. Vijaya Muhurta is scheduled from 2:38 to 3:31 p.m. Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is said to be held from 7:02 pm to 8:07 pm. Godhuli Muhurta is scheduled to take place between 7:02 and 7:24 pm, while Amrit Kalam Muhurta is scheduled to take place between 1:10 am (August 14) and 2:52 am (August 14).
August 13 Asub Muhurat
Gulikai Kalam Muhurta will be held from 12:26 to 4:05 pm, Yamaganda Muhurta from 9:08 to 10:47 am and Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 3:44 to 5:23 pm. Dur Muhurtam will be held in two sessions: from 8:28 am to 9:21 am and then from 11:21 pm to 12:04 am (August 14). Baana Muhurta is likely to continue at Roga till 4:57 pm.
