Vemulawada town in Telangana Rajanna Sircilla district has its first park. It is named as Vimulawada Municipal Park. Since this is the first park in Vimulavada, people from the town come to the park with their children in the evening. At night, the park lights up with different lights and statues. The statue of Lord Shiva in the center is one of the highlights of this temple. It was built by the Mandala Parishad Development Office (MPDO) near its office at a cost of Rs 2 crore.
Parents often take their children to the park. The park has different slides and equipment for children to play on. As a result, children wait in line, leading to crowds. People often post about their fun times at the park on social media. For the convenience of the people, the Mandal Parishad office of Vimulawada town has established Vimulawada Municipal Park. Municipal officials said the park has been constructed at a cost of Rs 25 crore, in addition to the development plans being implemented in the town as part of the Vemulawada development.
When asked about this particular park, people in the town told Local 18 they were delighted to have this park developed for the first time in the town and extended a special thank you to council member and MLA Government Whip Adi Srinivas. People are excited about setting up a park filled with idols of Lord Shiva.
Government whip Adi Srinivas said they are setting up a small tank in the area around Vemulawada Rajanna Temple at a cost of Rs 10 crore. The park is located on the banks of the Vimulavada river and was developed at a cost of Rs 2 crore. Chairman Madhaviraju said that irrespective of party affiliation, they are working for the development of Vemulawada town.
It was clarified that two years ago, under the leadership of the Vimulawada Municipal Council, during the tenure of KTR Minister MLA Ramesh Babu, the village tribal development authority approved funds for the development of the Vimulawada town park. Officials say the park is open every morning to 9 p.m.
