Actor and former TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty said on Tuesday she took part in protests against the rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor in Kolkata and now she is receiving rape and death threats on social media. Mimi Chakraborty, along with other actors like Riddhi Sen, Arindam Sil and Madhumita Sarcar, participated in the protest held in Kolkata on the evening of August 14 against the RG Kar MCH incident.
Mimi shared some screenshots of “threatening” comments on her Instagram posts on the microblogging site X. She wrote: “We demand justice for women, right? These are just a few of them.
