The Mumbai Hajj Committee of India has released the 2025 Hajj Action Plan. Dr Mahmood Ali Khan, executive officer of the Rajasthan Haj Committee, said online applications can be submitted before September 9. A prepayment is required for the fourth week of Hajj.
Hard copies of passport, payment slip and health certificate must be submitted to the state Hajj Committee by the second or third week of October. The vaccination camp is scheduled to be held in the first week of April next year. Hajj pilgrims on the waiting list are required to submit their passport, payment slip, health certificate and relevant documents to the state Hajj Committee within one week of being selected from the waiting list.
The 2025 Hajj schedule has been drawn up with specific dates and regulations to facilitate pilgrims’ journey. According to the information provided, the departure time for pilgrims is scheduled between April 29 and May 30, 2025.
The core Hajj period, which includes the main rituals and rituals, will take place from June 3 to 8. After the Hajj, pilgrims will begin their return journey. Pilgrims will take chartered flights back home from June 11 to 10.
Previously, only pilgrims aged 70 and above were allowed to bring companions. However, new guidelines have lowered this age threshold to 65 years. Now, women aged 45 and above can apply for Hajj even if they are not accompanied by a Mehram (male close relative).
