The horrific incident of a 35-year-old man being brutally murdered has shocked Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh. The entire incident took place in Gyankheda village in Hydergarh Kotwali area of Barabanki district. The victim Govinda was kidnapped, tortured and finally killed in the village.
According to the Hydegarh police report, Govinda's body was found in a pond in the Shivgarh police station area of Rabarei district. The attackers allegedly subjected Govinda to extreme torture, including removing his genitals and eyes. His hands and feet were then tied and thrown into a pond.
Additional Inspector General of Police Akhilesh Narayan Singh said a case has been registered against three individuals and one unidentified person from the same village based on a complaint from the victim's family.
Currently, three suspects have been arrested and are currently being interrogated regarding the incident. Singh confirmed the incident and said police were working to investigate the motive behind the brutal murder.
