The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that train services in the third phase will start serving commuters from 6 am on Sunday, officials said on Friday.
They said this will benefit all commuters including students or applicants appearing for various competitive examinations which are usually held on Sundays.

The third phase of the road includes Dilshad Garden-Shaheed Sthal, Noida City Center-Noida Electronic City, Mundka-Drigadier Hoshiar Singh, Badarpur Border-Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh), Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar, Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden. Trains run between Dhansa and Dhansa bus stations – Dwarka.
“Adjusting the service start time of these corridors on Sundays will not only benefit the commuters of these corridors but also the number of students or applicants appearing for various competitive examinations which are usually held on Sundays. The extended timings will help them Reach your destination hub in the National Capital Region of Delhi in a seamless and convenient way.
He added that services on all other corridors of the metro network will continue to run at the normal starting time of 6 am.
