India launches first reusable hybrid rocket “RHUMI-1” to collect climate change data
India on Saturday added another feature to its space technology portfolio by launching its first reusable hybrid rocket 'RHUMI-1' from Thiruvidandhai in Chennai. Developed by Space Zone India, a startup based in Tamil Nadu, in partnership with the Martin Group, the rocket carries three Cube satellites and 50 PICO satellites and launches them into a suborbital orbit using a mobile launcher.
