Kolkata rape and murder case live: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to conduct a polygraph test today on Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the Kolkata rape-murder case. A special court in Kolkata on Friday allowed the CBI to conduct a polygraph test in the wake of the brutal rape and murder of a junior doctor at the state-run RG Kar Hospital earlier this month.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday conducted polygraph tests on six persons, including Sandip Ghosh, in connection with the Kolkata rape and murder case. The CBI reached Ghosh's residence on Sunday morning.
The CBI is also conducting searches at multiple locations for alleged financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital as part of the ongoing case.

Among the seven, one was a close associate of Roy, a citizen volunteer, and the remaining four were medical graduate students of RG Kar who were on duty at the hospital on the night of August 8-9.
