Congress MLC Ivon D'Souza said that if India has some respect, it should take action.”
V Sunil Kumar, a BJP MP from Karkara, said: “In Karkara, a girl was raped by people from a particular community. This was a premeditated act. I condemn this. She was given some drugs and Rape. One victim's mother also filed a complaint. It is said that 2 persons were arrested but the police should take immediate and strict action. Such incidents are often pre-planned. In this case, the government should take strict action and the entire gang should be identified and punished.”
