In a shocking incident, the body of a three-year-old girl was found inside a suitcase in Bihar's Muzaffarpur on Saturday. Police investigations revealed that she was killed, stuffed into a suitcase and thrown into bushes by her mother, who was having an extramarital affair and was planning to leave her husband.
The arrested accused Kajal said her boyfriend, with whom she was having an affair, did not want her daughter to accompany her, so she slit the child's throat and killed her. She further told police that she planned her daughter's murder after watching the popular TV show Crime Patrol.

Dixit further revealed that she committed the murder alone. The city police chief added: “She said she had watched Crime Patrol before and got the idea to kill her daughter and stuff the body into a suitcase from certain episodes of the TV show.”
Asked if she found the woman's boyfriend had any role in the murder, the officer said: “We found no indication that the boyfriend played a role in the murder, so we did not detain him.” She also said, She was influenced by the Crime Patrol to commit the crime, and her boyfriend didn't tell her about it.
