Nicola Twilley, author of Frostbite: How Freezing Is Changing Our Food, Our Planet and Ourselves, appears to be on her way to reversing the benefits of refrigeration.
In an interview with ABC News last month, she discussed the “larger disadvantages” of refrigeration for “our environment.”
“All electricity used for cooling. This is a huge contribution to climate change. That's before we get to the chemicals used in refrigeration. They're called refrigerants, and according to the project drawdown, they're the number one problem we can solve to mitigate climate change. So it has many disadvantages. It's just that they're usually not talked about.
Freezing also has many benefits.
“The refrigerator is one of the most important pieces of equipment in the kitchen to ensure food safety,” the USDA says.
Human Progress, a project that emphasizes “significant improvements in human well-being in much of the world,” reminds us that: “Refrigeration has revolutionized public health and improved quality of life around the world,” and brought us “significant benefits”, e.g. “Reducing Foodborne Illness and Improving Food Quality.”
Twilley even admitted Refrigeration prevents food from spoiling and is one of the reasons why “19th-century recruits” grew taller.
As far as we know, Twilley has not yet called on policymakers to ban refrigeration. Nor is she the first to try to connect refrigeration to climate disaster.

Climate veterans have achieved many policy successesEspecially in California, which symbolizes virtue, diesel locomotives have been banned, natural gas appliances have been banned, and a few cities will not build new gas stations.
But even with these W's, Eco-tyrants whose goal is the total elimination of all who oppose their deindustrialization agenda will never be satisfied.
They want to reshape Western economies, impoverish the Third World, and control society.
The green veneer is but a cover for a plan so dark that its principles cannot be spoken aloud.
