Usually, devotees are required to bring coconuts, bananas and flowers to participate in these rituals. However, it is customary for temples to offer turmeric, cinnabar, incense and silver idols of the goddess for free.
This time, Pawan Kalyan sent 12,000 sarees for the pooja in Pithapuram constituency. He vowed to give a sari to every woman who participated in the worship rituals, along with turmeric, vermilion and a silver image of the goddess. The sarees have arrived in the Pitapuram constituency and are being distributed among women attending poojas.
The people of Pithapuram have praised Pawan Kalyan and called him their god for the love and affection he showed towards his constituency.
