Unleashing Prosperity Commission: Kamala explains fracking triggers
There is no “progress on climate.” Today, more than 80% of our energy comes from fossil fuels—about the same as five years ago—despite hundreds of billions of dollars spent. …
In 2023, the world will burn more fossil fuels than at any time in history. Here are the facts:
Global energy-related CO2 emissions increased by 1.7%, driven by China and India.
Fossil fuel consumption reached a record high in 2023, growing by 1.5% to reach 505 exajoules.
China is by far the world's largest primary energy consumer, accounting for 34% of global consumption.
Almost no country has been able to meet the United Nations’ anti-fossil fuel goals.

Unleashing Prosperity Commission: Kamala explains fracking triggers
It's interesting to watch liberals explain why Kamala suddenly abandons her radical positions on the border wall, the Green New Deal, reparations, fracking, taxes on unrealized capital gains, Medicare for All, and more.
She said that while her stance has changed with the political winds, “my values have not.”
But her campaign explains below why it’s illogical that she now supports fracking.
As we have stated many times on these pages, “no progress has been made on climate”. Today, more than 80% of our energy comes from fossil fuels—about the same as five years ago—despite hundreds of billions of dollars spent.
As for Kamala’s claim that other countries are meeting their climate goals, that too is a myth. In fact, by 2023, the world will be burning more fossil fuels than at any time in history. Here are the facts:
-
- Global energy-related CO2 emissions increased by 1.7%, driven by China and India.
- Fossil fuel consumption reached a record high in 2023, growing by 1.5% to reach 505 exajoules.
- China is by far the world's largest primary energy consumer, accounting for 34% of global consumption.
- Almost no country has been able to meet the United Nations’ anti-fossil fuel goals.

Solar and wind will account for just 13.9% of the world’s electricity by 2023 – despite trillions of dollars in subsidies, mandates, UN climate summits, net-zero emissions and restrictions on fossil fuels
Despite these rules, subsidies and regulations, solar and wind will account for only 14% of U.S. electricity by 2022
Study in Science: Only 63 of 1,500 global climate policies over the past 25 years have aimed at reducing CO2 emissions – a success rate of 4.2% – study authors: “We found that this is very rare [subsidies and regulations] A real commitment to reducing emissions.
Devastating testimony against solar, wind and electric vehicles: Running 'so-called green' solutions requires 'enormous amounts of energy and resources'

“These so-called green or ethical solutions are not solutions at all. The marketing of the $1.5 trillion-a-year climate change industry is brilliant. There are a bunch of inconvenient truths about the corporatist transfer of net-zero wealth. pic. twitter.com/Jr6fy2AY3X — James Melville (@JamesMelville) July 16, 2024 Rachel Matthews:
The United States produces primarily fossil fuel energy, accounting for 84% – solar and wind account for only 2.2% of all energy – and over the past decade, solar and wind increased total energy production by 2.1%, while total energy production from fossil fuels increased by 27.9% % – July 15, 2024
Bjorn Lomborg: “The United States mainly produces fossil fuel energy (84%). Solar and wind energy account for only 2.2% of all energy (not just electricity). In the past decade, solar and wind energy increased total energy production by 2.1%. Fossil fuels This increased energy production by 27.9%.
By 2023, the United States will be operating primarily on fossil fuels. Nuclear energy accounts for 9%, and renewable energy (mainly biomass) accounts for 9%. Solar and wind energy contributed 2.5%.
Since 2019, the United States has produced more energy than it has consumed. Not since World War II has it been more energy independent. The last time there was a small energy surplus was in 1957.
WATCH: 'Juice' debunks solar and wind power 'green' claims: To make a wind turbine, 'we have to extract 900 tons of steel, 2,500 tons of concrete and 45 tons of non-renewable plastic'

Juice: Why wind and solar make our grid less reliable: Excerpt: “Just to produce one turbine, we have to extract 900 tons of steel, 2,500 tons of concrete and 45 tons of non-renewable plastic. Then we have to transport it and burn the fuel , shipping it around the world and installing it, and none of that stuff that goes into the turbine is renewable.
Energy analyst Mark P. Mills exposes 'net-zero' folly of electric vehicles: 'You'd have to dig up about 500,000 pounds of material to make a single 1,000-pound battery'
Mandating electric vehicles in the United States would require “18 times the current global cobalt production…three-quarters of the lithium and half of the world's copper and rare earths.” China dominates all these markets

Black Rock's Larry Fink admits green energy is a scam! – At the World Economic Forum, Larry Fink ironically destroys net zero emissions When it comes to the power required for artificial intelligence: “By 2030 [data centers] 30 GW is needed.. Where will the power come from? To power these data companies, you can't use intermittent electricity like wind and solar.”
The Washington Post acknowledged the reality: “Amid explosive demand, America's power is about to run out” – the U.S. “grid” is being pushed to the “edge.” Utilities can’t keep up” — “It’s shocking” — but WaPo worries energy shortages “could hinder the transition to clean energy”
Artificial Intelligence = Energy Transition: Energy analyst Mark P. Mills makes the case to Congress that AI’s huge power needs mean “policymakers can no longer entertain the idea of an ‘energy transition’”
WaPo: The six states with the most “clean energy” are powered primarily by nuclear or hydropower, not solar or wind. – U.S. CO2 emissions plummet as natural gas replaces coal
The quiet part speaks out, the report states: “Heavy industry” (steel, cement) will have to “adapt” to intermittent solar/wind power – “needing to adapt to the effects of weather conditions…wind and solar generation times”
You'll be broke and happy: UN report urges 'massive emissions reductions in the construction sector' – replacing 'concrete and steel' with 'stone, wood and bamboo' – by using 'government regulation and enforcement' to achieve 'net zero' '
