A 46-year-old man presented a “domestic relationship agreement” stating that they would not file any sexual harassment case against each other in order to obtain pre-arrest bail in a rape case filed by his partner in 2017.

Lawyer Sunil Pandey, representing the accused in court, termed it a case of fraud.

The agreement shows that the two have agreed to enter into a romantic relationship. The agreement was finalized and the woman signed it. The seven-point agreement signed by the two stated that they decided to remain together from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
The second article stated that during this period, both parties will not file any sexual harassment cases against each other and will spend their time peacefully.
According to Article 3, the woman will live with the man in the man's home. If she finds that the man behaves inappropriately, they can separate at any time, but they need to give one month's notice in advance.
Article 4 stipulates that while the woman and the man live together, the woman’s relatives cannot come to her home.
Article 5 further states that women shall not cause any form of harassment or mental distress to men.
Article 6 stipulates that if the woman becomes pregnant during this period, the man will not bear any responsibility.
At the end and in the seventh clause, it is stated that the woman will be held responsible if the harassment causes any mental trauma to the man and ruins his life.
