AAJ KA PANCHANG, September 5, 2024: According to Drik Panchang, Dwitiya Tithi and Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha will be held on Thursday, September 5. Shukla Dwitiya and Shukla Tritiya are considered auspicious days to start important events as they coincide with Shubh Muhurta. On this day, the only festival celebrated is Samaveda Upakarma.
The month also includes Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations from September 7 to September 17. It is also believed that Lord Ganesh was born during Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. Madhyahna Ganesha Puja Muhurat is scheduled to be held from 11:03 am to 1:34 pm on the day of the celebration.

The sun is expected to rise at 6:01 a.m. and set at 6:38 p.m. The moon is expected to rise at 7:45 a.m. and set at 7:50 p.m.
Details of TITHI, NAKSHATRA and RASHI on September 5
Dwitiya Tithi is expected to continue till 12:21 pm, after which it will shift to Tritiya Tithi. The auspicious Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra will continue till 6:14 am when it will shift to another Hasta Nakshatra. The moon is expected to be in Kanya Rashi while the sun will be in Simha Rashi.
Shubh Muhurat on September 5
Brahma Muhurta is expected to be held from 4:30 to 5:16 am, followed by Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 4:53 to 6:01 am and Vijaya Muhurta from 2:26 to 3:16 pm. Godhuli Muhurta is expected to be held from 6:38 to 7:00 pm and Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is expected to be held from 6:38 to 7:46 pm. Nishita Muhurta is scheduled to take place on September 6 from 11:57 pm to 12:42 am.
Asub Muhurat on September 5
Yamaganda Muhurta is expected to be held from 6:01 to 7:36 am, followed by Gulikai Kalam Muhurta from 9:10 to 10:45 am and Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 1:54 to 3:29 pm. Dur Muhurtam is scheduled to be held from 10:13 to 11:04 am and from 3:16 to 4:06 pm. Varjyam Muhurta is expected to take place from 3:45 to 5:34 pm. Baana Muhurta plans to stay in Mrityu all night starting from 12:22 noon.
