Russian President Vladimir Putin said China, India and Brazil could act as mediators in possible Ukraine peace talks on Thursday. According to Reuters, Putin said a preliminary agreement reached by Russian and Ukrainian negotiators in talks in Istanbul in the first weeks of the war – which was never implemented – could serve as the basis for talks.
