How to teach climate change so 15-year-olds can take action
The OECD's PISA project will measure students' ability to take action against climate anxiety and “position and function in a global world”
“The weather is going to get very hot, Everything will catch fire and sea levels will rise,” said 11th grader Josh Dorian. “It's like the worst of the worst case scenarios. How do you deal with it?
“Well, you fix it, you stop it from happening, you take precautions,” said Josh, who is studying VCE Environmental Science at Mount Lilydale Mercy College in Melbourne's outer east. “It's scary to get kids involved, but I think it's necessary.“

The climate movement is dying and you can smell the desperation. The past two major climate conferences were hosted by oil sheikhs and oil tyrants who consider fossil fuels “a gift from God”. But even a dying snake can deliver a deadly attack. The climate movement is still doing a lot of harm on the way down.
When the climate movement is finally swept into the dustbin of history, our society teaches millions of frightened children that they have a duty to save the world, a period that will rank high on the list of evils committed by the Greens and their political enablers .
