Wednesday, Eight federal entities responsible for managing the U.S. Climate Corps– Including the White House, America and the Department of the Interior –Signed to terminate the plan and dissolve the original memorandum of understanding that established itA senior White House official told Free beacon.

The White House also adopted the official website of the program, which was used to recruit workers.

“Another victory, on Wednesday, Biden's “American Climate Forces” officially closed,” the official said. “President Trump promised to end the new scam of green, and that's what he did.”

The end of the U.S. Climate Corps is another Salvo in Trump's comprehensive energy agenda – in its first weeks of office, the president's administration has reopened millions of acres of oil drilling, pushing for a shutdown of gas exports policy and policy shutdowns are carried out throughout the environmental justice program.

The lawsuit also follows Trump's promises, revoking many of Biden's green new trading style plans.

Those same groups and lawmakers are one of the most voiced supporters of Biden’s U.S. Climate Corps.

The program also aims to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by hiring few-in-experience Americans.

The White House said in Creation The plan will mobilize “new, diversified generations” to combat global warming. In September 2024, the Environmental Protection Agency created an environmental justice branch of the troops.

Meanwhile, Republicans view the U.S. Climate Corps as a waste, unnecessary, and attempt to shut down domestic production of fossil fuels.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R. It is not clear where the White House gets the funds needed to hire tens of thousands of workers.

The Biden administration eventually redistributed millions of dollars from existing federal plans to launch the program.

Biden then asked $8 billion in his 2024 budget proposal to fund 50,000 climate regiments annually in 2031, although Congress never approved the request.
