    “Kill the Road:” Amazon rainforest was cleared to bring globalists to COP30

    A new four-lane highway demands the demolition of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforests to bring globalist elites to the COP30 climate summit in the city of Bellem, Brazil. [emphasis, links added]

    The BBC reported that the goal is to host the city's vehicle traffic at a UN sponsored conference in November, with more than 50,000 people, including world leaders.

    The COP30 will also see the usual thousands of attendees flying on this occasion.

    Critics quickly point out the sheer hypocrisy of this deforestation because it contradicts the purpose claimed by the climate summit.

    The BBC report states:

    Along part of the road, lush rainforest towers on both sides – a reminder of what was once. Logs are piled high on clearing land that extends over 13 kilometers (8 miles) to the rainforest of Bellem.

    Excavators and machines pass through the forest floor, lay on wetlands, and surface, which will pass through the reserve.

    Adler Silveira, the state government's infrastructure secretary, listed the expressway as One of the 30 projects that happen in the city is to “prepare” and “modernize” it, so “we can have a legacy for the population and, more importantly, serve people in the best way to COP30.”

    He told the BBC that it was a “sustainable highway” and a “significant liquidity intervention”.

    He boasted that it would have wildlife traveled through, for animals to pass through, bike paths and sunlight.

    A new hotel is under construction, The port is being redeveloped so that cruise ships can dock there to accommodate excess visitors.
