    New poll: Most voters prioritize U.S. energy independence over climate struggle

    A new poll by the Naples News Service shows that making U.S. energy independent of more than half of the fight for climate change, making U.S. energy higher. [emphasis, links added]

    According to the poll, 57% of voters view this view, while 39% are on the opposite side.

    The poll found a large gap between political parties, with 84% of Republicans prioritizing U.S. energy independence rather than fighting for climate change, while 31% of Democrats put U.S. energy first.

    Only 14% of Republicans were surveyed saying fighting climate change is more important, while 65% of Democrats said it was.

    The poll also found that 59% of voters said lowering electricity costs and improving grid reliability and gas supply should take priority over responding to climate change.

    Polls find Democrats are evenly divided on this issue The vast majority of Republicans place energy costs and security on resisting climate change.

    According to the poll, providing clean air and water to all also occurred before climate change for 68% of voters.
