tonight Track the chance of severe thunderstorms south of Grand Rapids between midnight and dawn. Some storms may produce gusty winds. Otherwise, it will be warm and humid, with lows near 70 degrees.
Sunday A few showers and storms are possible into the morning. Sunshine is expected to continue into the afternoon and evening. The climate is warm and very humid, with highs in the 80s and dew points in the 70s. Another batch of thunderstorms is possible after sunset, possibly closer to Monday morning.
on Monday A series of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible before sunrise. Strong winds are a major threat to any storm formation. The greatest threat may be south of Interstate 96. Once this batch is complete, partly cloudy skies are expected, with another mainly dry daytime period expected. The weather is warm and humid again, with temperatures back in the 80s again.
Tuesday The last batch of thunderstorms may arrive as a cold front moves through. The most likely time frame will again be before sunrise. Damaging winds are also possible this round. A few showers and storms may persist for a while once the weather clears up, with partly cloudy skies and a high around 80 degrees.
Looking to the future Pleasant and dry conditions will develop mid-week. There will be plenty of sunshine and temperatures will drop into the upper 70s!
